Watch: A New Trailer for ‘Alien: Covenant’

Ridley Scott just can’t say goodbye to his Alien universe. After stepping away from the franchise following Alien in 1979, Scott returned to helm the sort-of-prequel film Prometheus in 2012. Now the filmmaker is back yet again with Alien: Covenant, a film that further bridges the gap between Prometheus and the Alien franchise.

Alien: Covenant finds Prometheus stars Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace and Guy Pearce joined by new cast members Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Billy Crudup, Amy Seimetz, and James Franco. This crew “discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world.”

Watch a new trailer for Alien: Covenant, now with more Xenomorph action, below. Alien: Covenant opens  May 19.

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
